Even though it’s called monstera, there’s very little that’s monstrous about these wonderful prints. And while monstera can grow to be nine meters tall, we know not everyone has high ceilings so these attractive illustrations and photographs of the unique leaves come in a variety of sizes and themes to fit any room of your house. Everybody loves houseplants--but no one loves all the upkeep they require! Plus, let’s face it, not every room is ideal for them (we won’t talk about the ones that “passed away”). But there’s hardly an indoor space that can’t be improved with a little life and freshness, so why not use one of our handy monstera art prints to bring that same sensation to a space, without also bringing in any potting soil or wilting leaves.

A great place to start that fits this description: the bathroom. Hang a bold leaf pattern with a light background opposite your shower to feel like you’re stepping out into a breathtaking tropical rainforest when you’re really just stepping out of the shower. This color scheme works especially well if your bathroom doesn’t feature it window, it brings the feel of the outdoors inside and helps open up the space a bit. A decorative silvered mirror is a great way to enhance this effect, while reflecting and multiplying your new print.

Don’t be afraid to go bold, either. Some of our artists have really let their imaginations run wild with this theme and there are plenty of amazing prints featuring wild colors and funky scenes. Take a page out of Andy Warhol’s book and place three or four contrasting prints in a row. If you do it so that each print features a different primary color (red, green, and blue) you’ll have your very own pop art display. Complete this look with a modern lounge chair in a similar color scheme and your living room or bedroom will have a fantasticly breezy--yet stylish--aesthetic.
